Dr. Ragavan, a board-certified endocrinologist with 20+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, excels in leadership and innovation. Former Medical Officer at the FDA and seasoned professional in multinational pharmaceutical firms, she transitioned to entrepreneurship as a founder and angel investor. Uniquely qualified, she has led teams in drug development, devices, and diagnostics globally. Founder of Aviana Molecular Technologies in 2008, she focuses on unmet clinical needs in infection diagnosis. Based at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, her dynamic team has advanced groundbreaking products. A graduate of Harvard (A.B.) and NYU Medical School (M.D.), Dr. Ragavan shapes the future of healthcare.

Peter Beaumont

DVM: Scientific Advisor

Bringing over 40 years of experience in veterinary medicine and the animal health industry, Dr. Peter Beaumont is a distinguished figure. Currently serving as Chairman of Trupanion’s Veterinary Advisory Board and Independent Third-Party Veterinarians, he has been a stalwart on its main board until 2015. As a practice owner, angel investor, and consultant, he has lent his expertise to various organizations in the UK and USA, including Veterinary Business Development Ltd., Novartis Inc., and more. With a veterinary degree from the University of Edinburgh, internship/residency at UPenn, CVPM from Purdue, and an MBA from NYU Stern, Dr. Beaumont is a respected authority in both clinical and business aspects of the industry.

Darren brings over three decades of entrepreneurial, corporate, and small business operations and finance experience to the team. He has founded three successful businesses and has helped raise millions in capital for early-stage companies.

Throughout his career, Darren has specialized in building scalable financial infrastructure from the ground up. His expertise spans strategic financial planning, M&A, debt and equity financing, and developing data-driven KPIs that empower leadership teams to make smarter decisions. He thrives on translating complex financial information into actionable insights for founders and stakeholders.
